Luke Bryan Raising Nephew Following His Family's Deaths (Video)

Luke Bryan recently opened up about his decision to take care of his orphaned teenage nephew, Til.

Til’s father was Bryan’s brother-in-law, Ben Lee Cheshire. Cheshire was 46 when he died unexpectedly last November, leaving behind the three children he had with Bryan’s sister Kelly, who passed away in 2007. Tragically, this wasn’t the first sibling Bryan lost. His brother Chris died in a car accident in the mid-’90s.

In a new interview with ABC News, Bryan said that Til has come to live with him, his wife and their two young sons in Nashville. Til’s two older sisters come to visit him often. 

“We feel like if we just stay positive through this, maybe we’ll be a positive inspiration for people that had these things happen to them,” said Bryan. “You just have to plow on and play the hand that’s dealt.”
