Jessica Pare, Anna Paquin Part of Hollywoods New Trend The Hollywood Reporter
Abbey Lee Kershaw

The Australian-born Victoria's Secret model (who also goes by Abbey Lee) rose to fashion fame in part because of her charmingly imperfect smile. Now she's about to make her big-screen debut in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road, a film in which not-so-perfect teeth will fit right in.

Alek Wek

The Sudanese-born Wek left her country in 1991 and was discovered by a London model scout. She became a well-known fashion model who has walked the international runways for Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Donna Karen, Calvin Klein and Christian LaCroix. She's also appeared in ads for Victoria's Secret, Issey Myake and Clinique. Needless to say, she's never thought about repairing her gap.
Anna Paquin

Paquin won an Oscar at age 11 for her role in Jane Campion's The Piano. She appeared in the first three X-Men films and now stars in HBO's vampire TV series, True Blood. Of her refusal to fix her tooth gap, she has said, "If you have a whole bunch of work done with your teeth, your face and your boobs then you’re only going to play modern people. That’s a big choice to make. Very limiting.”
Brigitte Bardot

Bardot became a French cinema goddess with her broad gap-toothed smile, massive blonde hair and enticing figure in the late 1950s-60s. She worked with such French directors as Jean-Luc Godard and Louis Malle and became the official face of Marianne in 2007, to represent the liberty of France. Retired from films since 1973 and now an animal rights activisit, she still has never fixed the small space between her front teeth.

Georgia May Jagger

Jagger is one of the four children Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger had with ex-wife/model Jerry Hall. Previously modeling for Hudson Jeans and Rimmel Cosmetics, she is now the face of Madonna's Material Girl clothing line. Her front tooth gap certainly fits right in with the modeling industry's current obsession for imperfect teeth.
Jessica Pare

Pare can thank her gap as one of the reason why she was chosen for the role of Mad Men star Don Draper's new wife, Megan Calvet. According to reports, series creator Matt Weiner fell for her toothy grin. He even wrote a scene in which Megan recalls being told she could never be an actress because of her imperfect teeth.
Lara Stone

The Dutch model is largely credited with re-creating the gap-tooth modeling craze. She's has been the face of Calvin Klein since 2006, and Karl Lagerfeld photographed her for the 2011 Pirelli Calendar.

Lauren Hutton

Former '70s supermodel Hutton recalls her tough-as-nails modeling agent Eileen Ford telling her to get her teeth fixed. Hutton agreed but had no intention of doing it. Instead, she wore a piece of wax in the space for fashion shoots. After legendary photographer Richard Avedon refused to let her wear the wax, her refreshingly unique smile became her trademark.
Lindsey Wixson

Born in 1994, Wixson decided to become a model when she was 12 years old, and despite the space between her front teeth (or because of it), she has since done major fashion campaigns for John Galliano, Versace, Jill Stuart and Alexander McQueen.
Madonna

The "Material Girl" has become of the biggest-selling and most popular pop artists of all time. While she has reinvented herself many times over the years, she never bothered to fixed the small space between her front teeth.

Vanessa Paradis

The former child star/singer was chosen by Karl Lagerfeld to be the face of Chanel's Coco fragrance in 1991. She met actor Johnny Depp in 1998, and they have two children together. And her gap teeth may have been their Cupid. In an interview 10 years ago with a THR reporter, Depp, who had just gotten some striking gold crowns, allowed that he "loves teeth that aren't perfect."
